Has your business tried every imaginable lead generation strategy, only to find wildly inconsistent results?

Maybe you’ve even tried LinkedIn in the past, but didn’t find any success there either.

Regardless of which scenario applies to you, LinkedIn still represents the greatest lead generation opportunity in business history.

Why?

Where else has there ever been a perpetual pool of qualified professionals and businesses you know will at least have some interest in what you offer?

Imagine an industry conference with 575 million participants (LinkedIn’s total number of users), with 150 million (the number of American users) of those being nearby.

For example, Comarch, an IT services company, filled its lead pipeline two years earlier than expected.

Matmach, an online platform for product designers, grew its supplier pipeline by 10x.

Braelyn Inc., an executive coaching and strategic consulting service, went from a 75% drop in business to 20% growth beyond previous all-time highs in 12 months.

LinkedIn marketing works.

And in terms of opportunity, you just can’t compare it to anything. I’m open to ideas, but I just can’t think of anything that even comes close.

But, It’s Not as Easy as It Looks

Now if you’re like many companies, you’ve already tried to generate leads from LinkedIn. And like others, you may not have achieved any results.

It happens.

Isn’t it gut wrenching to have the largest gold mine ever sitting literally right in front of you, with absolutely no way to tap it?

Part of the problem lies in usage. The average LinkedIn user spends just 17 minutes on the site per month.

The average Facebook user spends that much time on their social network daily.

So that’s a bit of a conundrum.

You don’t have to give up hope though. LinkedIn generates leads at a 277% (2.74%) higher rate than both Facebook (.77%) and Twitter (.69%).

How Do You Tap LinkedIn Then?

You can do a lot of stuff on LinkedIn. You can:

  • Create a company page
  • Optimize yourself for search
  • Attract followers
  • Publish content
  • Add rich media to your company page
  • Sponsor your posts
  • Create LinkedIn Ads

Any one of those processes can take up all your time and marketing resources. And they can leave you with little-to-no results to show for it.

LinkedIn abounds with failure stories you never hear.

…But you don’t have to be one!

LinkedIn “Campaigning,” or directly messaging qualified prospects at scale, can drive you amazing results.

You simply have to know a problem your target market has and proof you can solve it. This gives you a relevant message.

Then, you target decision makers within the industry you serve, and send them personalized messages.

Most won’t bite because that’s how lead generation works. But some will.

And that works well on LinkedIn because you have an easy way to contact someone you know will be likely to have a high interest in what you offer.

Of course, you have all sorts of modifications you can make and test in your messaging to your prospects that will increase or decrease your response.

What Results Can You Expect?

Everybody’s results vary at least somewhat. Much depends on the quality of your offer and your ability to turn calls into sales.

But, basically, the averages work out like this:

  • Contact 50-75 prospects per day
  • Get 20-30 responses per month
  • 5-6 become highly qualified leads
  • 1-2 become clients

The problem lies in making the contacts at scale. You can sit around and send direct messages to leads you research yourself, which gobbles up hours of your precious limited time.

LinkedIn totally allows you to do this. They do have some rules that govern how. But as long as you work within those rules, you don’t have to worry about having your account suspended.

And as long as you have relevant messaging that will interest your prospects, you don’t have to worry about offending and alienating your prospects.

Imagine Red-Hot Leads Delivered To Your Email Inbox Daily

Cleary, this process isn’t “effortless.” You still have to do some work. But, you don’t have to waste your time with disinteresting menial tasks.

Instead, you open your inbox each morning and get to talk to highly qualified prospects. You don’t have to convince them of the value of your services.

They already get that (assuming you’ve crafted your messages correctly). Instead, you offer a little more proof and credibility, show the prospect you’re trustworthy and likeable, and then you move ahead with your business relationship.

That’s it. That’s all there is to it.

Well, that and the increased revenue you win as a result.

Anyway, done right and with an experienced hand, LinkedIn represents literally the greatest lead generation opportunity in business up to this point in human history.

And it’s one you can’t afford to miss out on.
